I had to wake up a little earlier than I had to a few days ago. It wasn’t easy but I managed to drag my sleepy self out of my bed at 7.30 in the morning but guess what? I’m going back to Melaka. So I headed down for a shower, got dressed and walked to the Kelana Jaya LRT station and arrived at KL Sentral at 8.30. Now, this is the problem with KTM. Not only the trains move slower and are packed like sardines, they also arrive later than expected. When I first reached the platform, the signboard indicated that the train was arriving at 8.57. That brought my mood up, only for a moment. After a few minutes, the time changed to 9.12. Feeling annoyed, I stood there for an extra 10 minutes to board the train. The moment I reached Bandar Tasik Selatan, it was already 9.25 and I intended to take the 9.30 bus. I quickly ran to the terminal while carrying my bags and stuff. Huffing and puffing upon arrival, I realised that I was 10 minutes earlier due to my watch. Thank God for that. Once I got my ticket, I went down and got onto the bus. After a long nap, I reached home and waited for my mum to come and get me. We went to town to run a few errands and I went for lunch with my mum and brother. When we got home, I immediately went up to change my graphic card with the one I bought last night. In a few minutes, my mission was accomplished. My TV was displaying the CPU’s background and the graphics of the movies I downloaded were as clear as crystal. I couldn’t help feeling proud when suddenly…

*bell rings*
Isaiah: *runs down the stairs* Who’s that? Oh. Hi Glenn,
Hi Jia Lin! Come in la.

*gate swings open, narrowly missing Jia Lin’s car*
Jia Lin: Oh my God! Almost hit my car weih!
Isaiah: Who asked you to park your car so near to the door?
Glenn: She Poh what.
Isaiah: *shrugs*

Anyway, Terence arrived 10 minutes later and this was what happened before he arrived..

*phone rings*
Isaiah: Ah, Foo. Apa mau?
Terence: Eh, what’s the road number to your house?
Isaiah: I don’t know. Where’re you coming from?
Terence: Melaka Mall.
Isaiah: What the heck. Can you backtrack? I’ll get you from there.
Terence: Just tell me the number la.
Isaiah: I don’t know la. Wait. *asks parents* 21.
Terence: Where?
Isaiah: 21 la. You lost adi is it?
Terence: *protecting his manly pride* Nope.

So when he arrived, we talked for awhile and I showed them my new graphic card. They were quite impressed with the display on the TV and then we decided to catch Kung Fu Panda 2 at the nearest cinema which was just nearby. Now, RM 11 may sound cheap to those who are in KL but in Melaka, it’s seriously ridiculous. Especially when the cineplex is not even close to a good class. Putting those behind us, we went in and we laughed like crazy throughout the movie and we had to wait for Glenn who was trying to make full use of his RM 11, BY WATCHING THE CREDITS. What a waste of time. Then Jia Lin wanted to grab a bite so we went to McDonald’s drive-through to order snacks. Here is an interesting conversation..

Jia Lin: Chicken McNuggets set satu dan McChicken burger
            a la carte satu.

Waiter behind the speaker: Baik. Ada order lagi tak?
Jia Lin: Takda, cik.
Waiter: OK. Terima kasih, ABANG.

What a joke. Haha. So when all was done, everyone went home and I went out to MITC with my family for some Home Expo to browse through furnitures and electrical appliances. We managed to get a brand new home theatre system and once again, I managed to set it up. Haha. Handyman skills come in handy when you’re alone next time. When all was finished, I decided to browse through a few pictures and I came across this nice old picture of me.

Hehe. That’s one heck of a difference. The only similarity is, my wide grin. Guess that’s a signature, eh?
