I can’t believe I’m waking up so early for the past 4 days when for all the nights before, I have been sleeping at 1. Although I was reluctant to drag myself out of bed, I did so out of discipline and went to the bathroom for a refreshing, 20-minute shower. After dressing up, I went downstairs to look for a bite but then again, I wasn’t really in the mood to eat something so I went out, heading for the LRT station. There weren’t anything memorable to remember throughout my journey there. It was until when I stepped into college, my actual day started. I had a Maths extra class today at 9 so being one of the earliest to reach, since Ying Yi was already there before me, I sat down and stoned for a moment before I remembered that I was supposed to get the college’s fax number for my father. I quickly walked over to the other side of the building and once I got it, I immediately texted the number to my father. Once everything was done and completed, it was already 8.50. I headed for class, left my bag at the seat and went down again to wait for a few friends. Fifteen minutes later, I grew restless and so I went back into class and waited for class to start. As time passed by, the rest of the students started coming in and when I saw my friend, I was surprised to see changes.
Isaiah: Woah. When you cut your hair and started to wear a
shirt?
Wah Sheng: Why? Cannot ar?
Isaiah: Can, but you certainly look different.
Wah Sheng: How different?
Isaiah: Gay-er than usual. Hehe.
So we continued joking and played around, much to the annoyance of our teacher but she knew we were doing our work. At the end of the class, Tan Jie, Wah Sheng and I decided to head out for lunch at the economy rice stall behind the college. When we were finished with our lunch, we packed a meal for Ying Yi who was occupied with some activity in college as well as her boyfriend. So we walked back and Tan Jie separated from us at the monorail station. Upon the reaching the canteen, I was required to transfer some stuff into a laptop which became very annoying because of the speed the laptop was going and of course due to the presence of catalysts there. When I was finally done with those, I rushed towards KL Sentral where I was supposed to meet Jo Ey who was going to follow me to Mid Valley for some shopping. I waited for a while and Jo Ey could be seen walking towards me. We then walked towards the KTM station and we had a interesting conversation there.
Isaiah: Eh, later we need eggs ar.
Jo Ey: Mmm. How many dozens?
Isaiah: What the heck? You wanna do big-scale business ar?
Jo Ey: *giggles* Then half a dozen can ar?
Isaiah: Can la. Small issue only. I just hope we got enough.
Jo Ey: If not enough, we take from Michelle’s house la. Later her
house no eggs. Hehe.
Isaiah: No, no. No need to take from her house. We take from
Michelle. I got syringe. Hehe. *laughs like crazy*
Jo Ey: Huh? What? *confused*
She didn’t get the joke until I explained it to her on Facebook later that day. So, we reached Mid Valley in 10 minutes. We then strolled casually to the supermarket which was located at the ground floor. I had to call my mother to roughly know what I had to buy in order to bake a cake. After much explanation, I went on to get all of the necessary ingredients and much to our despair, Jusco had ran out of vanilla essence. We looked all over the aisle and since we couldn’t find any, we decided to pay Carrefour a visit after realising that Mid Valley had two supermarkets. The moment we reached the correct aisle, two things caught my eye. First, I saw the one and only bottle of vanilla essence left on the shelf. I quickly grabbbed it and held it up proudly. Hehe. What made me angry was the second thing I saw. The cocoa powder that I bought from Jusco, was RM 4 more than what Carrefour was selling. Jo Ey immediately voiced out her discontent and we both agreed that Jusco wasn’t the place to go anymore. After buying all of the necessary ingredients, we then headed to the top floor to get something to eat. While we were having our respective meals, we exchanged personal experiences and opinions until we felt that it was about time for us to leave. On the way home, I realised something wasn’t right. MY BUTTER WAS MELTING. I quickly rushed home and kept it in the freezer the moment I stepped into the house. Luckily the melted butter did not spill out of the wrapper. Or else I would have used the leftover grease to play a prank on the neighbour’s car. Hehe. Before I leave, here is a perfect example of what we call trolls in harmony.
