I can't believe it's been so long that I have stopped updating my blog but here I am again, waiting in the student lounge for my friends, actually friend, to call back after she finishes her class. If you're wondering who's that special person which I'm willing to wait for till the dead of night, she's none other than my close friend, Jasmine. Not to say that Terence and Jia Lin aren't but they're waiting as well as I'm typing this post out. As for Glenn, I believe he *coughs* has to study for his A2 *coughs*. What I want to say is that, since the last time I updated my personal blog, things are starting to lighten up in my current university life. I believe that I have found the right group to mix with, given that they know how to mix fun and studies together to give a fruitful experience here in uni. The friends that I made here are so much different than those that I expect to make before I came in. Back then, I used to think that all medical students were walking encyclopaedias/dictionaries/thesauruses and never the type of people who liked to socialise. Well, "all" would have to be replaced with "most". I'm very surprised that there are people who are the geniuses that I expect them to be, yet it's fun to be around them because of their unique characters and personalities. Not only that, I've managed to befriend a few international students. There's one each from Iran, Indonesia, Tanzania and Nigeria. Learning their culture, habits and personalities day by day actually opened my eyes that our culture here may not exactly be the best and there are some flaws that can be tweaked to improve it. Despite all the good things I've went through, I'm still disappointed with the fact that I can't really exercise here (I don't wanna hurt myself by saying I gained weight, lol) and I see a repeat of me being what I was 9 years back (oh God, no). Hopefully I find a way to cut all the fat loose and slim down so that I can get back to being fit. I can't believe Terence managed to outrun and outplay me in a game of basketball that day when we were back in Melaka (don't grin to yourself, Foo). Well, I guess that'll be all I have to say for now. Have to wait for another hour before the laptop starts ringing. Here I come, YouTube!
