....in SFI, definitely had to be the PJ period we had since Form 1 till Form 5. I was having this conversation with my friend in church this morning and I can't believe how much time has passed since I left high school and the one subject that I never want to miss in my entire school life. To be honest, I wasn't really an athletic person till I started Form 5. I guess what I love most about PJ is the fact that I get to be around my classmates, playing and behaving the way I'm wired to be. The teamwork we had during games, sportsmanship and some teeny fights we had combined together to be the essence of the whole thing. When I was young, I always wanted to grow up quickly and leave school. Little did I know that time dashed past so quickly that I didn't even have the time to appreciate the moment that I would soon treasure. Handball, softball, football, rugby and volleyball were the few games we used to play, just to name a few. Not only that, we had something called a SEGAK test which we had to do as many pushups and situps in 30 seconds to gauge how fit we were. In addition to that, we had to run 7.5km and also do some stretching test. I'm really happy to know that year by year, my fitness level increased as my score got better and better. I honestly think that colleges and unis should incorporate PJ into their schedules. It really helps to go out and get some fresh air instead of just being stuck in class for our lectures. Not very good for a person who gets bored easily like me. Lol.
