When I got up this morning, I was already worried. I got up, paced around, looking all over, leaving no stone unturned. I couldn’t find my damned glasses and apparently, after much hesitation, I turned my brother over and voila, there was my glasses laying under his body. Thank goodness it wasn’t crushed or badly misshapen. I quickly put them on and breathed a sigh of relief. I can’t imagine myself being without glasses for a day. It’s torturing, annoying and most of all, I just don’t feel like myself. So anyway, I immediately got dressed and hurried as my parents were already waiting for me to move my bags into the car. After we were finished with the transfers, we went for quite a heavy breakfast which left my father, brother and I groaning with our stomachs so full. Then our journey back to Melaka began. I slept again as usual, until we finally came to the most interesting and funniest part throughout the whole journey.
Mum: *stops the car* Mummy go to the toilet ar.
You three wait awhile.
Isaiah: Mmm. *playing the PSP**shortly after mum leaves*
Caleb: Eh, I go toilet also ar.
Isaiah: Mmm. *still playing the PSP*
*Caleb goes out*
5 minutes later…
Mum: *comes into car and prepares to leave* Let’s go.
Isaiah: *playing*
700 metres later…
Isaiah: *looks beside* Eh! Mummy! Where the hell is Caleb?!
Mum: *stops the car* HAH?! WHY YOU NEVER TELL ME?!
CALL HIM!
Isaiah: *runs out of the car*
5 minutes later…
Caleb: Chiko, next time I report police bawlz! I thought you all
don’t want me adi.
*all laughs*
Haha. I can’t help it although I seriously feel sorry for my brother. The fear and worry of being left alone on a highway with no acquaintances and once your car has gone, there is no turning back. Thank goodness I turned my head for just that one second to realise that my brother wasn’t in the car. So three hours later, we finally reached home and we unpacked all of our belongings. My brother and I went out to wash the car whereas my mother and father kept themselves busy with household chores. We took our dinner at 7.45 then my brother and I went to church for practice for today’s performance in church. We’ll all be singing and I hope everything will turn out well for us. This was a prank I pulled on my friend before I went to church.
Isaiah: *texting* Allysia, I won’t be coming later. My parents
wants to stay in KL.
Allysia: *reply* Hah.. Aiyo, never mind la….
Isaiah: *reply* Sorry la.. Tomorrow also cannot..
Allysia: *reply* Never mind, never mind.
1 hour later..
Allysia: EH! I thought you in KL?!
Isaiah: What do you think le? Hehe. You take my word so
seriously ar?
Allysia: AARRGGHH!!
Isaiah: *grins widely* Problem? Hehe.
It’s always nice to play a prank on a friend once in awhile and I guess it makes me, me. I can’t imagine myself being all serious and stiff although I don’t mind being the latter. Terence Foo, if you’re reading this, I’m sure you will have a grin etched on your face. I hope I wouldn’t lose that “Mr. Joker” persona anytime soon. I don’t want to lose a part of my identity which has already been made known to so many people. I guess that’s all I have to say for today. Going for basketball later in the evening. Can’t wait to see how well my friend has become ever since he went to Nottingham. Jia En, you better impress me with what you have. Haha.
