The day started for me at 9 with me walking into the bathroom when I felt a sudden chill. The bathroom was cold and I reasoned with myself that the air-conditioner must have cooled the air in the bathroom. So I went back to bed with my PSP in hand to complete my game. A few minutes later,

Dad: *walks into room* You never turn Caleb’s air-con off ar?
Isaiah: ? I thought we used timers what. Not off meh?
Dad: His air-con is on the WHOLE NIGHT.
Isaiah: Lol? *continues game and whispers to self* Man
           down.

Apparently, my younger brother didn’t bother to turn off the air conditioner even when he’s already curling up at the side of the bed because he was freezing. As expected, he received a lecture from my dad immediately after waking up and then went back up to lay on his bed for a little while longer. Since I had a move appointment with my friends today, we quickly washed up and got dressed while my mum was preparing our lunch for us. After a scrumptious, mouth-watering meal which comprised of a plate or two of fried nasi lemak and a cup of plain water, I drove to Dataran Pahlawan with my brother at my side and eventually Terence who was sitting at the backseat of the car. While we were on our way there, we received a phone call and this was the conversation..

Terence: Hello? Ah, Jia En. Yes, boss?
Jia En: Hey, Terence, what time are we supposed to meet ar?
Terence: 11.20, 11.20. Where are you now?
Jia En: At home la.
Terence: WHAT? Now already 11.10 and you’re still at home?
Jia En: Wanna eat breakfast la..
Terence: You eat one breakfast take so long?
Isaiah: Oi, monkey, I eat two plates of rice in 10 minutes. Stop
           dilly-dallying adi.

Jia En: OK, OK.

I was really dumbstruck when I heard the excuse. Seriously. Breakfast at 11 and he’s already late. Anyway, we reached Dataran at 11.30 and we quickly went up to meet Carol, Glenn and Jia Lin. Yew Keong was late as usual and he could still be seen calmly strolling towards us at 11.45 when we were supposed to enter the cineplex at 11.40. Jia En arrived at 12 so Terence, being the kind and patient friend, went out to get him when the movie had already started. Did I mention what movie it was? We were watching INSIDIOUS. Hehe. A great movie for laughter and also for cheap scares according to Terence. I quite agree though. There were parts where ghosts popped up out of nowhere. Together with the incredibly loud sound effects, the scenes practically scared the hell out of the female audiences and shamefully, the male ones as well with two of them being Terence and Jia En. They decided to spare themselves of the horror by covering their eyes with a jacket. What a waste of money. After the movie, we went to McDonald’s for a quick lunch and snack and then we went home. Yew Keong decided to drop by my new place and had a plate of the fried nasi lemak that was prepared earlier. He was kind enough to help me assemble the stands for my surround sound speakers and so after everything was done, he continued playing my PSP and then we went out for basketball. We played till about 6.30 then we realised it was getting too dark to play as it was about to rain. God was good enough to wait for us to get into our cars before He let the rain fall. The moment our doors closed, it was raining cats and dogs. The rain lasted till about 11 p.m before it toned down for the night. My family and I went out for dinner with my host and his family as they were in Melaka for the day to attend a wedding. So, after the dinner, we came home and chatted for awhile before everyone went to bed. I guess that would be all from me for today. Will be going back to KL later in the afternoon. Got a Maths extra class coming up on the 7th. Wouldn’t want to miss it due to the exams which are lurking around the corner. Haha.
